This is a fast and easy craft, and you will have the cutest garland up for decoration.
This is what you need:
- a newspaper
- some thicker piece of paper, I used some polka dot scrap leftover paper
- a stapler
- a hole puncher
Cut strips from the newspaper and scrap paper (mine are 15 mm). The width depends on how big of a hole you punch. Try out before you start cutting the strips. (Been there and done that mistake already 🙂 )
Divide them in to different lengths like the picture below. One length for the craft paper, ( 12 cm this is about 4 inches) And then four different lengths for the strips
Make loops out of the newspaper strips and staple them on to the craft paper strip, see picture. Start with one side first and then you do the other after.
Now you have made a heart 🙂
Punch holes on the top of Craft paper strip, and thread the string through. If you want space between the hearts tie a knot to keep them apart.
